Winter weather

So it's snowing again. My warm green world has turned and now has a blanket of white. It is colder here than parts of the Great White North. I wonder if it really is Global Warming?

Today

Today is Remembrance Day. A day to remember why we have freedom.
How our family and friends fought in wars to save us from a fate we do not know or cannot conceive how it would have been. Life as we know it now is not so bad. Take away a few of the luxuries, hot water, dry towels, clean water, fresh healthy food and what have you got? We really need to bring a whole lot of gratefulness into our lives. Do we truly appreciate what we have right now?
